Hello guys, I am back with another Whale Wallet Analysis for your pleasure and research.
I have previously conducted a similar analysis for AMPL, SNX, BASED, LINK, YFI, YFV, UNI, SUSHI, and WBTC.
The Loopring rich list is accessible on the Etherscan page for anyone to see.
As always, I have ignored all the contract addresses or any exchanges that might have holdings.
Interestingly, there were a number of whales that entered the top 20 on the rich list 24 hours prior to writing this analysis. In total, four wallets increased their holdings to reach above 10 million LRC from January 3rd to 4th;
These whales don’t seem to hold any other asset, but I have a feeling that they might be new Venture Capitalists just recently entering into Loopring. Therefore, I have decided to keep them in this whale wallet analysis and put a “*” next to their ranking to show these new additions to the top 20 on the rich list.

Whale #1 literally entered the top 20 on the rich list in the past few hours. He started buying up Loopring for a period of 12 hours from the early morning on January 4th. There are no other holdings in his wallet. I suspect this is a new VC entering the project.

Whale #2 started purchasing his LRC on January 3rd and continued into the early hours of January 4th. Prior to this, he had no other transactions in his wallet in addition to holding no other assets inside here. I suspect this is also a new VC entering the project.

Whale #3 first purchased his first set of LRC in May 2019. He then went and bought 13 million more LRC in December 2019 and hasn’t touched any of his tokens since then. In fact, the whale has not had any transaction in the wallet for over 100-days. His last transaction was an ETH to USDT trade over 100 days ago.
In total, his net worth is around $5.2 million.

Whale #4 first purchased his LRC way back in May 2019. In December 2019, the whale would send the majority of his LRC to the Loopring Staking Pool. He would purchase more LRC in late-Feb 2020, July 2020, and as recently as December 2020.
In total, his total net worth is around $71.6 million. The majority of this is sitting in ETH. On top of the 15 million LRC he owns in his wallet ($4.7M), the whale also has around 10M LRC staked ($3.25M). Additionally, he has 1568 ETH in the ETH2 deposit contract.

Whale #7 has a long history of trading LRC, with his Etherscan wallet spanning over 57 pages worth of trades just for LRC. He first purchased it in June 2020 and has continued ever since. In addition to Loopring, he has a long list of obscure altcoins that many people might not have heard about. In particular, he has a large holding in Decentralzied Vulnerability Platform, BOSAGORA, and CONUN.
In total, his net worth is around $64.3 million.
