Amazon AWS Engineers are testing Quantum computers working together to create near perfect randomness for Cryptography keys. 

Why is this important? Randomness is essential to make encryption less predictable and thus crack-able, or in this case harder to crack and thus harder to access the data.

What is Amazon AWS Braket - Amazon made their Cloud Quantum Computing Test-bed available in Aug. '20, its available for customer to design and test quantum algorithms. Seems AWS engineers get allotted time on Braket too as Amazon AWS engineers have been hard at work on having two Quantum computers working together to create near perfect randomness for Cryptography keys.  By not allowing any computational assumptions and the use of randomness extractors (RE) the result is nearly flawless randomness.

Quantum Random Number Generators might hold the key to the security promise land!  How, it renders almost all traditional tools obsolete and the computing power found in traditional computers will take so long it wouldn't be worth the effort.

Use Cases - Blockchain ledgers, Banking Security, Government systems, Securing IoT devices, you name it, almost every scenario can benefit from improved security. Unlimited potentials, well at least in my mind.

 

Summary - Quantum computing advancements continue to bring the future near us can you envision a more secure world? Hackers would be out of business, having to invest their energy into the betterment of the Future vs combating it.
