(XTRM PR) - It was going to happen sooner or later... With the surge in huge financial companies such as JPMorgan buying up billions of dollars in Bitcoin, it was only a matter of time before VISA chiefs found a way to utilise Bitcoin in their payment and credit services.
Recently during a statement, Al Kelly, CEO of VISA, mentioned that the world famous financial services company is planning to allow the purchase of Bitcoin tokens on the Visa platform. With huge announcements to follow...
Speculating on the Crypto world and their function as digital currencies, Kelly urged that there is ‘strong potential for those to become a new payment vehicle. In fact, it could be an accelerant in some of the emerging markets as we look around the world’.
VISA are going full steam ahead and look to have made inroads into one of he last bastions of crypto to conquer usage in the modern world... Gearing up towards full scale purchases at stores around the world... Initially though limits will be purchase/trade only.
Visa are already working with about 35 different partners and companies which will also allow Bitcoin to be spent at 70 million stores where Visa is accepted. It could soon be that you are able to pop off to Walmart and buy a sandwich on your card...
