[UPDATES] Superfluid Staking coming to Osmosis

Do repost and rate:

Superfluid staking is arriving to next week at 28 February, and arrived some updates about how it will be deployed. Reddit user (the user is not an developer nor affiliated with it) explained general outlines for the next update with some specific information. So the take away is:

  • Superfluid updates will deployed gradually across to , with the first updated, as we have mentioned in previous article, it will be available only for pool #1 (ATOM-OSMO LP).
  • You will stake only portion of your liquidity pool. For example if you supply $100 of and equally $100 of to the liquidity pool, you can only stake $100 of (for now) and receive staking rewards on it.
  • You have to lock/bond your liquidity to 14 days gauge: so if you have bounded for 1 day or 7 days, you have to unbound them first in order to stake bonded LP tokens.
  • You can only delegate your LP'ed token to one validator and you can not redelegate.
  • Your staked LP tokens won't give you a voting power, but it will give voting power to your validator.

team will be rolling out more updates and continue to work on Superfluid Staking, so these clarifications are just regards to next update. We are so excited to see is growing with whole ecosystem and to be honest, it is the biggest drive for Cosmos Ecosystem right now (together with Juno and its ecosystem).

It would be better to wait for bonding 14 days gauge on , if you are not already LP'ed into (Who are we kidding, we are all already deep in LP pools); and when it arrive, I would absolutely delegate LP tokens to the smaller but involved validators. In general, it is always better staking got distributed among validators for the sake of decentralization
