Getting started on BlockchainRPG is extremely easy. While gameplay is still in Open Beta, the community is actively growing over the last few months. This post is to serve as a brief introduction to BlockchainRPG and how players can get started playing this NFT based gamed on WAX.

BlockchainRPG is a Digital Item Metaverse in the faraway lands of Aurum. Hunt monsters, gain resources, craft better tools, and compete against others. BlockchainRPG offers a fun play to earn style gameplay. Earn GOLD and rare NFTs while playing. Trade/Buy/Sell your in-game items with other players to assist each other in your adventures! Step 1 - Generate a WAX wallet:
There are a couple different options to create a WAX wallet. A WAX wallet address can be used across multiple games that are built on the WAX blockchain. I can recommend the WAX Cloud Wallet for ease of use although you dont have access to your private keys via this service. If you want to control you private keys, you can use the GreyMass Anchor Wallet. Step 2 - Acquire a new NFT Character Card:
In efforts to reduce bots, support the dev team, and to provide continuous updates to the game, we have enabled a Character Card requirement. Each player must have a Character NFT equipped in order to play the game. Players may purchase a Character NFT Pack from our Official BlockchainRPG Shop. Players can also purchase cards on secondary markets AtomicHub, NFTHive, or NeftyBlocks. Something to keep in mind, there are two collections for BlockchainRPG. Both are fully functional in-game but the original collection is under the 'BlokchainRPG' while the new collection is under 'BRPG'. Step 3 - Stake Your Character/Equipment NFTs:
After a NFT character card is acquired, it is time to 'stake' the NFT in-game and equip and other equipment NFTs you might have. Once Staked, players can start their hunting/adventuring process in BlockchainRPG.

Step 4 - The First Hunt:
Congratulations! You are now ready to go on your first hunt! Lets perform a hunt in the Swamplands You can do so by following the steps listed here: https://docs.blockchainrpg.io/game-mechanics/map-and-hunting Each hunting area has different creatures that you may encounter. The creatures in the Swamplands are perfect for beginners. We recommend that you keep hunting until you craft/acquire/purchase better equipment for your character.
