This will be a concise post, as there is no need to ramble on about something simple.
It is incredible how often pundits compare Crypto to a pyramid scheme, like the latest LuLaRoe. While they often don't pander to panic, the idea is pretty simple. GET THE HELL OUT.
Expect they are nothing alike. LuLaRoe was a cult of personality that sold a sense of belonging along with mediocre or even bad clothes. Crypto not only is not a cult of personality. It is, in fact, quite the opposite. Most of the creators are not only not in the public eye. In the case of Satoshi Nakamoto, we don't even know who they are. There is no sense of community. Well, there is, but if anything, it is a feature of connecting people spontaneously around the globe. It is a by-product, not the product.
So the difference? Everything. Crypto is built around an underlying technology that can change the world. It is like going back 20 years and saying google is a pyramid scheme, or 100 years ago and saying `the motor vehicle is simply a cult of personality around Henery Ford.'
Stop comparing them....
