Both environments are, of course, stagnant water, but in one case it is a large pond in the center of an agglomeration, where there are a lot of people, anglers, competitive birds, and there is a fairly busy street nearby.
Oba srodowiska to oczywiscie woda stojaca , lecz w jednym przypadku to duzy staw w centrum aglomeracji, gdzie jest sporo ludzi, wedkarzy, konkurencyjnego ptactwa, a do tego w poblizu jest dosyc ruchliwa ulica.

The second place is literally a huge pond, located in the heart of a park of several hundred hectares, where, for a change, it is calm, quiet, there are practically no people, streets and cars.
Drugie miejsce to doslownie wielkie oczko wodne, polozone w sercu kilkuset hektarowego parku, gdzie dla odmiany jest spokojnie, cicho, praktycznie nie ma ludzi, ulic i samochodow.
I also decided to watch these ducks a little, how they function in these different environments. The large pond offers much more. The food is varied, rich vegetation, crustaceans, fish. Additionally, they are fed by humans.
Postanowilem rowniez popodgladac troche te kaczki, jak funkcjonuja w tych odmiennych srodowiskach. Duzy staw oferuje znacznie wiecej. Pozywienie jest urozmaicone, bogata roslinnosc, skorupiaki, ryby. Dodatkowo sa dokarmiane przez ludzi.
A pond, on the other hand, is a bit of a sanatorium, where the diet is limited to poor vegetation, algae and sometimes tadpoles. However, in both of these cases, it turns out that the ducks feel good and it is enough for them to function normally and start a family.
Oczko wodne natomiast to troche sanatorium, gdzie dieta jest ograniczona do ubogiej roslinnosci, glonow i czasami kijanek. Jednak w obu tych przypadkach okazuje sie, ze kaczki czuja sie dobrze i wystarczy im to do normalnego funkcjonowania i zakladania rodziny.
Of course, the environment in which ducks live affects their behavior. Ducks from the agglomeration have become accustomed to people, they often come to anglers, to walking people, waiting for some treats. They are not shy, they do not run away. The ducks from the park's pond are distrustful, skittish, they are not interested in food offered by people, the poor food they have is enough for them.
Oczywiscie srodowisko, w ktorym kaczki przebywaja wplywa na ich zachowania. Kaczki z aglomeracji przyzwyczaily sie do ludzi, czesto podplywaja do wedkarzy, do spacerujacych ludzi oczekujac na jakies smakolyki. Nie sa plochliwe, nie uciekaja. Kaczki z parkowego oczka sa nieufne, plochliwe, nie sa zainteresowane pokarmem oferowanym przez ludzi, wystarcza im ten ubogi, ktory maja.
I took some unusual shots from hiding watching the daily rituals of ducks. It looks quite phenomenal and even nice. The photos are from behind the bushes, and not entirely clear. But I think those understatements are very cool.
Zrobilem troche nietypowych ujec z ukrycia podgladajac codzienne rytualy kaczek. Wyglada to dosc zjawiskowo i nawet sympatycznie. Zdjecia sa zza krzakow, i nie do konca wyrazne. Ale mysle, ze takie niedopowiedziane sa bardzo fajne.
