The Famous, Informative, and Potentially Dangerous: Reddit | Chapter II.

Do repost and rate:

In Chapter II, I will teach you how to protect yourself against the botposter scammers. It is very easy to recognise them, but they are after your emotions; so even if you may think that something is fishy/straight scam, you may STILL fall into it. Even if you put in just $10, because "Well, f*ck it, if it goes to zero, it goes to zero. If it moons, I will be a genius!" No. This mentality is not good. This botposter will spread outside of Reddit like a virus, too. If only 1000 people said this, that is $10,000. And, let's be real, 1000 people in the Cryptocurrency area placing $10s as a little bit of gambling, is fairly low. Those gamblers can reach 100,000+ in numbers, easily. Let's not talk about the few who will also "yolo" into them...

Let's go.

I will show you the Top of All Time post on the "wonderful" subreddit, CryptoMoonShots.

Oh shit, what a train we missed, right? The post's title is ridiculous on its own. Those can be a give-away, too, but not that impactful to make a verdict.

Note: I will explain everything about detecting the scam, but you can change up which type of investigation you start first.

Now, I will start with the awards.

This indicator is most often useful when you catch the post early. For example a 20 minutes posts with lots of awards. But the most important: be wary of the posts that are PROMOTING certain things and have LOTS of awards. I'm not talking just about Crypto here. It is applicable to EVERYTHING. Product sellers, World News, Politics, Agendas, ecetera ecetera.

Let's check the post's author's account.

Big oopsie! Well, this post was 8 months ago. Anyways! Let's check someone else's account, who promotes very good projects, too.

These are some of the Top Post of All Time for this user. He joined Reddit in June 1, 2021.

Let's scroll down a little more.

See the tactic at play, here? In Red circles, those are the obvious ones. Posting supporting/glorifying stuff about an ongoing tragedy, to make their Karma more, and more. More Karma means you are more legitimate, interesting poster. If you don't think this is true, sadly, in our times, it is.

The Blue circles: These are what I would call "Normalizer". Posting in things like you saw in the Red circles only, would be way too obvious. Social Engineering is at work here. They want to make sure that they can get the most people on the train to "financial freedom", (living on the streets)

so they will try their best to lure in the more sceptical.

As you can see, our user here, devilbilla, promoted HubCoin. We could've made lots of money, but sadly, we missed a once (once?) in a lifetime opportunity, yet again, as you can see here:

Fortunately, we don't have to wait long 'till we have a chance again to live on the streets financially independently, because these projects are popping up every minute.

Now, we will go back to Beyond Protocol, and check some of the comments.

I sorted the comments by "Top"

There are people sometimes who will try to warn others. I think these 2 may be into projects like this: get in early, sell as soon as you made profit, even just a little bit. But in my articles, I'm talking about scammers. I didn't research these 2 individual. I tried contacting the first one, but sadly, his last comment was several months ago, so I didn't bother. I censored their username, because, as I said, I haven't researched them. You are free to go and check them out if you are curious. I NEVER censor the ones who have been caught straight up shilling/scamming/lying. They make people lose money, I make them lose their privacy.

Let's go further down.

Let's go Beyond!

Now, let's sort it by "Top"

I didn't circle anything now. Do you see the scheme, yet again?

This was it for today, tomorrow, again, it will be continued. I know I promised that I will fully conclude protection today, but it is way too much to put it

into one article.

When we are fully done, I will provide a RI;BF (Read It;But Forgot), or, TL;DR (Too Long;Didn't Read) with just a quick revamp that you can freely download and keep it if you ever want to check it and don't even want to open a browser for it.

Thank you for your time, and attention! Tomorrow, we will continue from here.

In case you are curious, here is today's Beyond Protocol, which we started this article with:

Stay Safe.

Regulation and Society adoption
