The best Trezor wallet

After talking about https://www.publish0x.com/blogging-crypto/why-exodus-wallet-is-probably-the-best-xoqmdpg) one of the best software wallets for cryptocurrencies, today I will talk about one of the best hardware wallets, i.e. a physical device that allows you to store your cryptocurrencies in a more secure way and above all that can also be managed offline.

Before starting, let me make a small observation...

For whom might a hardware wallet be more convenient?

Certainly for those who invest a significant amount of money and who intend to hold the coins for a long time. Even to those who are worried about security, since a possible cyber attack is avoided.

For whom might a software wallet be more convenient?

Starting from the beginner, for whom it would be easier to use an app than a physical device. After that, for a trader who carries out trading operations frequently, as confirming operations from the device could be a bit annoying and cumbersome.

Clearly it is not an absolute rule and is subjective. Everyone uses what they think is best for themselves.

Having made this long introduction, let's talk about the new device from the Prague Company Trezor, the Trezor Safe 3, released in October 2023 and in pre-order phase.

Like its sister products, it has open source code, supports over 8000 coins, has the ability to use pins and passphrases and is possible to integrate TOR.

It has a 0.96-inch OLED screen, plastic body (Trezor ensures that the buttons resist over 200,000 clicks), USB-C and integration of the Secure Element Protected Certified Chip EAL6+ that prevents the seed phrase from being extrapolated directly from the hardware wallet, which is provided by the T and ONE models). The seed phrase can also be broken down according to the Shamir Backup, which involves deriving the main seed phrase into multiple secondary seed phrases. Only by possessing a certain number of the latter (for example 3 or 5) will it be possible to regain the "master" seed phrase (the one that allows us to access the wallet.

The price is only $79, on par with the direct rival LEDGER Nano S Plus on which there are some differences, to name a few Ledger has Bluetooth, a metal body and closed code, TREZOR only cable, plastic body and open source code).
