Stable coins prove they are not stable at all with complete collapse of Terra UST and all other stable coins depeg at various times can make stable coins to be perceived as securities.
If they were truly stable coins 1:1 with USD we would have never seen such thing as “depeg”!
But that’s not the case!
Most of the time this things have triggered Bitcoin pump because people no longer feel safe in stable coins and they have to put their money somewhere!
On the other hand current focus of regulatory bodies on what is security and what not is a kinda joke tbh. But I will talk about this in another post dedicated just to that!
