Congratulations to the TEN WINNERS of the recent RollerCoin Dress the Hamster Contest. Some drawings I originally voted for made it to the list of winners and I'm quite happy with that.
I made sure that I only took screen captures of the winning drawings to avoid reproducing high quality pictures that others can claim as their own. I also included the owner's Discord usernames for proper credit!
The first 5 winners got the Premium Season Pass! (the vampire one is 3rd!)
And 6-10 places got the Event Pass

How were the winners decided? Originally, it would have been decided through voting, leaving a thumbs up react to your favorite drawing(s). It was never stated in the rules that 1 discord user is only allowed 1 vote so it would have been obvious who the winners were at the end of the event. However, due to some cheating issues (violation of the Hamster Law), the RollerCoin Team decided to revise the simple instructions. From then on, the Team chose ALL the winners. There was no clear criteria from the beginning, resulting in a variety of themes (will enumerate a few in my next post). Some drawings were even too complex in my opinion so you know they're not beginners. Some were also simple yet adorable! I reallt enjoyed browsing through all the drawings
The 3rd place winner was originally a knight like Hamster. It was unfortunately not their original art since some of its features were copied...as of this moment, I do not know how much was copied from the internet or how it was even determined that it was copied in the first place. I'll do some investigation later! (will update this once my investigation's done). So a few days after the original end of the event, the 3rd place was replaced by Piero - Minar y Ganar#5268's vampire version of Hamster.
I must say that it is very unfortunate that only a few were deemed worthy of prizes. I still believe that it would have been better if consolation prizes were given out. Nevertheless, congratulations to the winners once again!
