Morning grogginess, oh how you persist, As I struggle to shake off your heavy mist,
My eyes feel heavy, my mind is slow, And my body moves as if in a low.
I reach for my coffee, my morning fix, Hoping it will do the trick,
But even as the caffeine starts to flow, I'm still in a daze, moving slow.
The day has just begun, and yet it feels so long, As I try to fight the grogginess, and move along,
But with each passing moment, I feel the weight, Of morning grogginess, that won't abate.
And so I soldier on, with heavy steps, Trying to wake up from my slumbering depths,
Hoping that soon, I'll be alert and bright, And that morning grogginess will take its flight.
