These issues have been exacerbated by the recent global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, which have highlighted the need for a more resilient and transparent financial system.
One potential solution to these problems is the use of a decentralized financial operating system based on bitcoin, the world's first and most widely used cryptocurrency. Bitcoin operates on a decentralized, peer-to-peer network that allows for fast and secure transactions without the need for intermediaries. It is also based on a transparent, open-source blockchain technology that allows for the transparent and immutable recording of all transactions.
Building a financial operating system on bitcoin would have several benefits. It would provide a more secure and transparent platform for financial transactions, as the decentralized nature of the bitcoin network makes it resistant to fraud and tampering. It would also enable faster and cheaper transactions, as the bitcoin network does not require the involvement of intermediaries and can process transactions much faster than traditional financial systems.
Rootstock and Sovryn
