I love cryptocurrency for the crazy stuff that occur in that market.
Today when I checked the coinmarketcap there I was shooked by the price of all crypto which surged more than 1?(10^9)X, 1 Bitcoin for example was worth $789,432,690,634
Could you believe it!!
Well for most of us who got fooled and went to sell their assets. However, when they started to sell, they found it was a fake. And if they just thought for a second, they would understand.how possible that liquidity appeared accidentally. And the price still the same. For more clarity, not all the platforms got affected. To name a few Trust wallet and Coin COINBASE was affected.
Although some people are saying that "the coinmarketcap was hacked", the coinmarketcap tweeted "Following the irregularities we observed on our platform this afternoon, despite the issue having been fixed, we will be rebooting our servers as a final step in accordance with our internal remediation plan. Apologies for the inconvenience."
For my view it was a bug and there is nothing to exaggerate about. And I think this occasion taught us a lesson Which remind us to think before taking actions.
