The customer base of the American hotel and entertainment company MGM Resorts is sold on the darknet for bitcoins. According to the announcement, it contains data of 142 million customers. It is reported by ZDNet .

The previous data leak occurred a year ago, but became known about it in February. A representative of MGM Resorts confirmed the problem to the publication, but at that moment it was about personal data of 10.6 million users. The database included phone numbers, names and addresses.

According to the new announcement, the database contains information on 142,479,937 customers. These include stars, politicians and hotel staff. The hacker claims that all the data was obtained as a result of hacking into the service for monitoring and aggregation of leaks DataViper, owned by Night Lion Security. The cost of the base is $ 2939, payment is possible in Bitcoin and Monero.

Service founder Vincenzo Troy told the publication that DataViper never had access to MGM Resorts' full client base, and the hacker was only trying to harm their reputation.

Recall that in late June, the media reported a leak of personal data of several million Telegram users.
