Not a joke, not a drill. METAMASK released a statement that the recent LEDGER hack affects more than just Ledger users.
Well that's reassuring. I think I'll be keeping my distance from my all wallets until further notice/necessary updates. Just to be clear, in case you are a Leger user and not aware, for now do not try to connect your wallet or use their connect kit:
What bad timing too. Ledger has been up to a lot lately, none of it good and now this happens on top of it all. I guess that's where all the negativity is coming from. I've been feeling the mood around Ledger and this recent event and usually when these things happen people voice their support for the company and users come together in unity condemning the hackers, but now the mood is quite shatty to say the least.
In closing it seems they are already closing in on the culprits and also Tether has taken action:
