Fist off - the pizza that cost 10,000 BTC: In 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz made history by buying two pizzas for 10,000 BTC, which at the time was worth just a few dollars. Today, those same bitcoins would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. This transaction is often cited as the first real-world use of Bitcoin. Third - The Winklevoss twins' Bitcoin fortune: Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, famous for their legal battles with Mark Zuckerberg over the creation of Facebook, became early investors in Bitcoin.
