A Few Satoshis (BTCs) In That Paper Wallet And Christmas Gifts

Aren't you happy this year? Damn sure, you're. The year, 2024, has been one of the most memorable and fruitful for you. Why shouldn't it be? Your Crypto portfolio is racing like a ferari in F1. The probable has almost happened. You have already achieved what you expected from 2024. I hope you surely have Solana, Avalanche and Arbitrum or may be you're more futuristic with one of the AI or BRC-20 tokens.

It's green everywhere, like the Christmas trees. Some are dark and some are light but all are green. The Noble Fir is the darkest of all much like the Arbitrum airdrop, albeit if you could grasp it somehow. Another dark green is the Balsam Fir which represents AI and BRC-20 Tokens. Douglas For is for Solana and Avalanche. Grand Fir shows about our favourite Bitcoin and Ethereum. There are many other names for the tree that symbolises 'Christ and Newlife'.

I myself being an example of afterlife (new life); Before the Christmas of 2016 and after it. I always cherish a thought, "why in 2016 not before that?" So what happened on that particular Christmas was that led me to entirely transform my mind about how I thought of finances. So, what actually happened was something that I never planned of but that had to be because of God's choice.

Now let me tell you what happened on Dec 25, 2016. It was a holiday and I and my brother preplanned for an excursion in daytime and for the evening we decided going to the theatre. That was all we had in our mind until the afternoon but then I got a call from one of my childhood friends. He actually wanted to invite me for Christmas Party. In our country it's a tradition not to deny upfront. But after his call, my brother asked me if I was going to the party. I said, "Naah." Certainly because I had planned for the theatre and I'm not Christian from my religion.

I don't know why but my brother who mostly loved going cinema, suddenly started insisting on attending the Christmas party. I asked him for the reasons and he replied, "Brother! How can we miss a Christmas party. We had never attended and we don't know if we will ever get another chance because we do t have that much Christian population around us." I was kind of nodded but decided to attend the party.

That was not only our first chance to attend a Christmas party, but also to witness a cool tradition of exchanging gifts. As I didn't know the traditions, my friend came to save me from embarrassment and he accompanied me for almost all the time and made me feel special.

There were many activities going on and as I was unknown to them so that made me much more curious and excited. Somebody's singing, somebody's dancing, foods and wines and yes a guitar was there. Initially hesistant but couldn't help to sing and I enjoyed everyone's attention on me for the first time (I ain't a great singer, BTW.)

As it's a tradition inspired by 'The Three Kings', gifts were being exchanged or also given one sidedly to me and my brother which we accepted as my friend told me to do. We got a lot of gifts but the most precious gift came from my friend himself. It was however only an envelope with a piece of paper inside. At first I thought it like a card of appreciation or approval for something. I asked my friend for what was inside and it shocked me when he replied, "Money." I became a little uncomfortable by his reply and asked him to take it back. But, he advised me to hold it safely as it had a treasure and we both laughed.

However his reply was struck so much in my mind that I took out that piece of paper as soon as I entered my house. I started reading it and found out that it was about 'Bitcoin' and if I followed the instructions I could get my hands on the most important financial innovation of all time. I followed all the instructions, input the code and what I found that there were 0.01 Satoshis (BTC) inside that paper wallet. The rest is a long story afterwards but I will always cherish this as the best gift that I ever recieved.

And here I am today waiting for the third bull run of my crypto career, writing about my Bitcoin journey, a proud HODLer of 1 Bitcoin alongwith other altcoins, known as the name of Coinsreporter.

Merry Christmas!!! ... In advance..

Hope you find this story inspiring and worth noting. I wish there could be decentralized cryptographic wat of celebration as well but nonetheless don't forget to tell me in the comment box what was the best gift you ever recieved?
