A couple of days ago, Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted a poll with the question, "Should I step down as head of Twitter. I will abide by the results of this poll'. By last night after 6 pm, just over 17.5 million Twitter users responded to the poll and the final results are 57.5% voting 'Yes' while the remaining 42.5% voted 'No'.

An article posted by Zero Hedge this morning reports that his other company, Tesla had its shares improve by 5% overnight. Tesla shares were over $190 on November 30th but by Friday's close, had slumped to around $150. That's a big drop in a matter of a couple weeks.

It is speculated that the possibility of Musk leaving Twitter and returning to his flagship company is the reason shares improved a bit. At time of writing, Tesla stock is at $155 and small change.

The Zero Hedge article jokingly pointed out that 'it wasn't clear what percentage of bots of mailed in ballots had been cast', referring to the ongoing legal issues caused by mail in ballots during the last U.S. federal election and the recent mid-terms.

Musk, who was in Qatar to watch the World Cup Final at the time he tweeted out the poll, replied to a few questions tweeted to him. In one reply in which he answered a question as to hiring a new CEO with, "You must like pain a lot. One catch: you have to invest your life savings in Twitter and it has been in the fast lane to bankruptcy since May. Still want the job?", referring to the $44 Billion he coughed up to buy Twitter. In another, he replied, "The question is not finding a CEO, the question is finding a CEO who can keep Twitter alive".

Wall Street Silver chimed in with their own tweet, "Yep, he already has the new CEO picked out. Elon will retire to being Chairman of the Board and Tweeter" to which Elon replied, "No one wants the job who can actually keep Twitter alive. There is no successor". An hour and a half later, he then tweeted, "Those who want power are the ones who least deserve it".

It seems apparent to me that Musk's intentions all along was to go in, expose the truth of collusion with government to quell free speech and eventually hand over the reins of the company to a trusted and devoted individual who will drive the company in the right direction towards profitability.

Now, we just have to see if he is really serious about exiting as CEO of Twitter and how long it will take for a new CEO to take over.

What do you think of these new developments? Is it for better or worse. Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Peace and Love to everyone.
