Another 4 weeks have passed and I did what I set out to do.
Clean up, and sell all that old shit.
And my selling like-a-noob plan worked as a charm.
But is there any money to be made from selling Gods Unchained (GU) NFTs?
This is what I said I would do:

And looking at my inventory today it?s been insane!
I just counted and in the past month 70 cards were sold and only 14 cards are still listed in my inventory. Some are the free ones we all have, some are waiting for the overly cheap cards to sell to make a bit more bang for my buck like my Tamed Mammoth.
Way too much work to tame that fellow to sell him that cheap so I will wait.
This is also to prove I am not selling all my cards at the low. If there is a bit of margin to be made, I don?t mind the wait.
Did this End of Year Sale Make Me Rich?
Even if I had made 1 GODS from each sale I would have made $28, which doesn?t even compensate for the time I spent forging (which reminds me I gotta spend New Year's Eve forging to stock my inventory again).
So forging and selling GU NFTs does not make you rich. I estimate I made 15 GODS after deducting the forging cost. And I have been collecting and playing since April (yes I know still a noob).
And that does not matter at all, the fun is waking up checking Tokentrove and seeing that one of my cards is sold.
In addition, it cleans up the inventory and it adds a little bit to the crypto balance.
Just FYI my theory that Meteor cards sell a lot quicker than Shadow cards was proven true.
This is for the obvious reasons such as:
Normally players already hold a couple of Meteors, so they only need 3/4 which is cheaper than being lazy and buying a Shadow version.
And there are many players that are just getting started and only level up to Meteor. Hence always check if Shadows sell and if they don't it might be smarter and more work to list 5 or more Meteors.

What else happened this month?
I finally got a legendary pack from Weekend ranked
As I did pretty decent on rank 9 for a while.
Still doubt if it was my best weekend or just the worst weekend of the year for my opponents.
It did not last, because last weekend I was playing at Rank 7 and did not even come close to my daily 4.8 win average.
I see some uptrend getting out of rank 7 easier lately, sticking a bit longer at Rank 8 but that is when I get pulled back to 7 again.
However, I must say that until this month I never spent more than 2 days as a Rank 9, so there is a very slow uptrend.
Looking forward
It?s almost 2024 and time to look ahead. Ahead means two things to me. I really need one or two cards added to this deck to make me a Rank 8.
So any advice on an affordable improvement on deck is more than welcome.
I mean personally, I would like to add Jason, but that is not in the stars for now as I am still on a freaking budget.
But I did notice that my friend Ember Oni was on sale again, or maybe he is just getting devalued.
Last month I happily paid 39 GODS for the dude:
Now I came across someone two weeks ago who had two of these guys and it actually worked pretty well.
Therefore (and because I do not have any other card on my radar that would give me a leg up) I went to have another look and hells bells this is what I saw:
That is 10 GODS less than last month???
And last month it looked like a one-off, as the next one was 78 GODS, but just look at what happened in the last 4 weeks.
Five Ember Oni?s available below 40 GODS.
What the hell is going on?
Did you all read my post last month and started selling? If so stop that poo. This used to be my most expensive card....now it?s worth well ehh less.
Oh and if you noticed that the 28 GODS Ember is gone.....that?s right....
For now, I switched it for a 1 Mana card as lately, my games have been taking longer. I guess that is what you get moving up in the ranks. Hence it made sense to move into a bit more (mana) expensive cards.
The Game Changer
Now I am quite certain that it will not be the big game-changer I am looking for, but what would be the way to become a comfortable rank 9 dropping back to 8 and up to 10, instead of the stable 7 moving up to rank 8 and back again?
I feel I am overlooking something, It should sit in my strategy, which is based on cheap quick attacks by using/combining Guild cards. Putting Order on those who get in my way and ending with a bang using Sneaky Bruiser, Lethal Prowler, and Ember Oni.
So the improvement should be finding cards that increase the attack power of my Guild creatures and replacing Witherfingers and/or Professor of Murder with a similar but cheaper mana card, a five or six mana instead of a seven mana to speed up my attack a bit. But I have not spotted those in my matches but I have 2 I will try.
I think I will swap the 7 Mana prof for A Toast Of Plunder:

This should make my deck a tad faster than when I would only add Ember Oni. And that professor often loses his deadly accomplices before I can put them to good use.
Well I just did a trial run with two Ember Oni?s, A Taste of Plunder, and no professor. In total, I am not yet convinced but that second Amber Oni did pull one of those games tonight my way. But I did not have a proper chance to Toast.
