So right now I want to share with you, what are some of the ways to avoid NFT scams, especially now that we know how valuable our assets are and I heard stories that their axies were lost and transferred to others and then sold the same things to the other coins that Metamask hacked, sent the coins to another wallet. So again we need to protect our NFT assets, such as physical items being stolen, different method but of course this is digital so that's why it is very important that we also need to know how to protect or how to prevent such incidents and get rid of those our assets are our NFTs.
1. Use a different password for each account you create.
I suggest you use password managers, I think around $ 20 per year, so actually the password manager just generates random powerful passwords from them and they are already saved there and I have to remember only one master password and I have two authenticators, so that's all I need to remember, after all, my passwords are stored there, so it also the one who generates your unique password every time I need it. If you want you can also manually, use different passwords in every account as much as possible.
2. Never store seed phrase in computer.
This is very important, the others are just copied to the word, copied to notepad, let's not do this because now when you hack your password if there is malware or physical people can access your notepads and where they are saved your password or seed phrase, especially when your computer is in public, can be accessed by other people, very risky. So never put your seed phrase in your computer, laptop, desktop.
3. Never store in one place.
Of course, if you don't want to put it on the computer, I said earlier that it is risky of course to write in a notebook that you can keep. It can also be on paper but never store in one place only especiality if you have multiple metamasks, I suggest that you put them separately because of course once you get one of your seed phrases in a notebook, all your seed phrases are there and so he can access all your accounts. That's the problem when put in one place.
4. Do not click links on random channels or DMs.
So here I was scammed, one day one of the games to do IDO and then in the telegram it says IDO is now open, I clicked and then transferred 1BNB, until after a few seconds I realized that it was a scam . So those telegrams will do a group chat with the telegram if you are legit because they will copy the announcements and then suddenly it will be the link for IDO and then that will be a scam. Make sure that the links to pm, in random channels you verify that he is an official account.
