A warm welcome to another Let’s Simplify Things! post!
In this series of posts about NFTs I’m attempting to provide you all the information you need to enter the wonderful world of NFTs as well as present to you projects I at least find interesting.

CHAPTER 20!
Ace of Apes.
For the 20th chapter I was looking for something special to bring to your attention.
Something that is multi faced, something that is not only enjoyable but does good as well.
And what better project for this anniversary chapter than Ace of Apes.
Yes I said anniversary as the blog has turned 1 year old!
But enough with that back to the Ace of Apes.
I first heard about this project before it became public as I was asked by the team behind it my opinion on various matters.
And then witnessed them as they worked very hard to bring it to life.
So I can with great confidence tell you that this one is a very special project indeed!
Why is it so special?
In a sentence because it is a fully community-driven project that aims to raise funds for endangered species!
And their first way of trying to achieve that is via the Lost Tales.
Knowing that the eight team members met via the CryptomonKeys I was not surprised when I read that their first project will have to do with monkeys.
I will not go into any details as I don’t want to take away the suspense factor!
You can have a taste from the picture above ;-)
All I will say is that it is based in a bunch of monkeys, monkeying around…
I will also say that the first panels are on sale, so make sure to go and grab them!
Oh and of course the story will be shaped by the community, so make sure to join the Ace of Apes Discord
They also have issued a limited four-weekly membership which grants you airdrops of all 4 panels of that cycle!
Cycle 1 and 2 has already been sold, but keep your eyes open for the membership sale of cycle 3.
Notice also that each cycle ( 4 weeks ) contains 4 panels.
It is special also for another reason.
You see the first 8 panels have been written by the team, while the ones after that will be by the community members!
As the first one was quickly sold out you will have to keep your eyes open for the next one coming for sale soon!
I personally love the fact that I’m being dropped the panels as the come out and don’t have to worry of missing one, so I highly recommend that option!
As I mentioned the story will be shaped by the community and as you can see at the picture above the team has figured out a simple, straight forward scheduled on how to achieve that.
On top of that, the 4 top picks will share a wax prize of 225 wax and will get the first 4 mints of the panels.
Additionally the winner will be credited in the attributes of the NFT.
The share structure of the rewards is as follows:
Weekly Prizes:
1st place: 120 wax + mint 1 of the panel + story credits on the NFT
2nd place: 60 wax + mint 2 of the panel
3rd place: 30 wax + mint 3 of the panel
4th place: 15 wax + mint 4 of the panel
They have also promised that the prizes will be upped as the Discord server grows.
When I told you that they are hard workers I meant it!
An example is the amazing interactive map of Xoohala.
By visiting the map and hover over it you can find out about the various continents of Xoohala.
Finally make sure you join their discord server!
Not only to be a part of an awesome community, but also because you will be able to shape the story of Lost Tales and win a LOT of gifts.
Talking about gifts, the team has announced that 10% of what is minted will be given away for free through their Discord events and Twitch streams!
Monkeys are known to be very, very generous!
So to simplify it Ace of Apes is a fun project with the aim to do good in our world via the power that a strong community brings.
