I'm glad my instinct told me never to invest in XRP token, issued by Ripple. More than once, as with Polkadot and ChainLink, if I would have followed more intensely my instinct, I would have made a greater profit.
However, what I want to tell you here is, as often, something that may look simple and clear, but there is never enough attention being put when one have to protect his own money.
I trade a lot using perpetual futures , with a low to medium leverage, let's say between 2 to 20. I was trying to make some profit knowing that XRP would have fallen deeply past week. And that's what happened.
But the market was, and still is now, so crazy that at any moment it can jump 5-10% up even if the destiny is to go down. This means that if you open a short position at the bad moment with, say, 10x leverage, you could be liquidated or you would close by yourself before this happens, but with great losses.
I've estimated that, more or less, the profits I made with XRP trading in the past days were not that much, surely not worth the stress.
What's happening is that XRP token's price is no more correlated to anything: not to the value, not to graphicals properties nor to the expectations. It is just automatically driven by furious bots and consciously by diabolic whales, both are massacring the small fishes. The price movements are chaotically erring across multiple levels, and they don't care about the one you used to enter in the game.
It is only mere speculation about the SEC decisions and about possibile Ripple's answers. If they succeed in staying alive, you could make a fortune buying now, maybe at around 0.18 $ . Most probably they'll not, but I hope for them the best, even if I've always had a negative sentiment about XRP.
I hope for them essentially because IF they win, then we can be almost certain that really few others crypto projects are in danger. It would means that we, the crypto community, can win in the future again, against gouvernaments.
Finally, what I suggest you ( and me ) is to stay apart, waiting for clearer signs. You may say "Ariman is an alter ego of Capitain Obvious" , but I repeat, I like to help others , probably many don't understand the risks here; or at least not enough.
