Yeah, yeah, yeah...I can see the downvotes already...but here is the thing...if you enjoy paying up to $40 in gas fees just to make a trade, then you have issues...
The other day I tried to trade some AMPL that I got here a few months ago, for SHIB, but I wasnt able to because the gas fees were $52! Now, if a rational individual who isnt even into crypto like my friend in Canada can see that this is stupid, and the crypto loving people are still yelling about how great Ethereum is, then they enjoy punishment.
If you have read my posts in the past, you will already know that I hate Ethereum for several reasons, and none of them have to do with the FACT that the developers arent doing anything about the gas fees!
This is keeping the poor from getting into this groundbreaking technology. This is keeping people like Jack from Twitter, and the other elites in the drivers seat.This isnt a middle finger to the centralized banking cartels, this is a GIANT middle finger to those who cant afford to make a simple trade.
For those who say, well, ETH 2.0 is coming and will fix the problems and everyone will be able to use it...Its Too Late! That ship has sailed because ETH is now going up in price! Passing now $4,000.
Say what you want...yes, Ethereum will pass Bitcoin, yes, it is a great technology, and yes, it will soon be PoS. But my latest experience has shown that I have to make several trades just to get something done. This is stupid unfortunate, and stupid.
If you defend these fees, then you are for a greedy few who rub it in the face of those who arent.
