Which Hardware Wallet Should I Buy?

Do repost and rate:

If you've been in the crypto space for a while, you know that the best way to secure your crypto is hands down with a hardware wallet. The challenge with that is that there are so many hardware wallets out there that it can be difficult to choose one.

That's why I'm writing this post. The goal of this post is to help you better decide on which hardware wallet is best for you based on what you're looking for.

When it comes to deciding on which hardware wallet you should get, I would say that the first thing that you should ask yourself is which coins you plan on accumulating. That'll give you a better idea on which wallet you should get.

The reason why I say this is because certain hardware wallets only support certain coins. It would be unfortunate if you were to spend your hard earned money on a particular hardware wallet only to later find out that it doesn't support the coin(s) that you're looking to accumulate. That's why I would say that's probably the first and most important question that you should ask yourself when deciding on a wallet.

After you know which coin(s) you plan on accumulating, I would say that the next thing to look at are the price and features of the wallets. You may want to look at the features that the wallet offers as you may or may not be interested in them. That's essentially why some wallets are more expensive than others, because of the features that they offer on the device.

When researching different hardware wallets, it can be a lengthy process to find a wallet that suits your needs. That's why I've created a table where I compares 6 different hardware wallets which may be able to help you out. I've included the LEDGER and TREZOR devices because they're the most well known and I've also included the Coldcard MK3 and SafePal S1 because I've been able to play around with them and test them out.

Here's a link to the table if you would like to see an updated version of it.

Hopefully the table helps you out and you're better able to decide on which wallet is best for your needs.

If you're interested in any of the wallets but don't want to pay full price, I know that these hardware wallets have deals from time to time. I've created a form where you just enter your e-mail address and the device you're interested and I'll keep you updated on any deals that the device has. You can fill out this form here which takes less than 30 seconds to fill out.
