The world of cryptocurrencies is a vast and fascinating universe to discover. But where do you start when you land in a totally unknown universe?
When I decided to take my first steps in the cryptosphere a few years ago, I had relatives (thanks to them;)) to direct me or answer my first questions.
Numerous resources already existed on the net with specialized news media, video content channels, various and varied influencers.
But how do you navigate this continuous and unlimited flow of information, with sometimes dubious promotions from obscure projects riding the wave of the BTC surge to $ 20,000 or people or sites posting articles oriented to place you such-and-such products or disguised MLM sponsorship?
And also how can we succeed in identifying serious currencies and tokens and unearth promising projects or simply follow or have reliable information for our next investments?
To answer it, I will share here my experience and my resources unearthed over time.
There are surely other very useful sources an I am far from knowing them all. The only goal is to be able to communicate to neophytes a small synthesis with knowledge bases to start efficiently.
And above all, remember: always do your own research even if the source and the content seem reliable to you.

Github is the platform created by and for developers: it can host and access all the codes and necessary tools to develop, manage and access projects while benefiting from the potential resources of 50 million developers.
It is for example on Github that you will find the latest updates for miners in Proof of Work or the wallets developed for such-and-such cryptocurrency (Example of the resources available for Trust Wallet below).

If you are looking for information or data's analysis on 5744 cryptocurrencies, tokens, exchanges or tools, CoinMarketCap is THE reference in the field: rankings, prices, volumes, capitalization, mining corners, products and derivatives ... All is here and dissected (example for ADA -Cardano below).
Additional resources to follow and discover new projects
Once again I will present you some tools / sites whose list is not exhaustive. These are entry points for researches and further studies on certain projects and those elements can be supplemented, for example, by consulting the white paper of the projects, by following the members of their teams on the social networks... The search for information has no limit and the confrontation of points of view also allows us to arrive at a more accurate analysis.

I hope with these few sites I have been able to give you some keys to start doing your own research and thus determine your next investments. I could list dozens and dozens of sites but the idea here is that you can set up a certain routine to allow you to follow and analyze your favorite coins and find the future gems that will make up your portfolio.
