What happened to bitcoin ⚡️ 26.04.2023

On 26th April Crypto Market experienced very bullish and very bearish Bitcoin price movement. 

What caused it?

First Republic Bank 

At 4 PM CEST time, when information about First Republic Bank being halted brought another fear about stability of banking sector. The information mirrored in BTC price rising. 

A big sell off

As ArkhamIntel stated, around 8 PM CEST time there were spotted large moves from seized MT. Gox wallet. 

After the drop we witness signs of recovery, but these are mostly backed by perpetual contracts.
