I came across this beautiful and informative website called TxStreet. It’s pretty amazing, and a good example of what a talent for art and visualizing can do to something that is, essentially, just a compilation of numbers and data.
TxStreet is a visualization of live blockchain transactions. Each person that gets represented on the GUI is a stand in for a single transaction occurring on either the ETH blockchain or the BTC blockchain.
There are houses that represent types of transactions. Obviously, this means that there is a Uniswap house on the ETH network. So there is Uniswap v1, v2, balancer and others. And more often than not, its uniswap and tether which account for the majority of these transactions.
Busses represent a future block. The bus leaves when a new block is found by miners. More transactions leave the busses as they move.
