'To the Moon!' - Screems the Beta.

We have all heard it. The digital shrieks of the overexcited hype addicts who are in it for the ride. Yes, you read that right. The people who talk so much about bailing out when the coin does their 'modest' x2, 'realistic' x12 or 'optimist' x50 are not actually in the game for the end of the game, they are here for the ride itself. The anticipation, the potential of enrichment, finally, the ecstasy of ogling a chart and refreshing all the tabs every 30 seconds - the mob may declare that it is only in it to get rich quick, but the truth is much more sinister - they are in it for the ride, the rush of adrenaline, but more importantly, the dopamine, which is not a pleasure drug but rather an anticipation of pleasure drug. Investing betas are hooked on dopamine and adrenaline, they claim to be focused on a goal, but their actions speak louder then even their most vocal exclamations.

As usual, the beta misses the whole point, while alleging the opposite no less. You see, you should be focused on the price of a coin going to the moon. And staying there. Yes, you read that correctly, unlike Apollo, a coin is not meant to go hurtling down in many broken pieces and crashing through the atmosphere. The price of the coin should grow and keep growing and actually make itself comfortable at a more or less given altitude. The phrase 'to the moon' explains everything about the beta mindset. To the moon and then what? And then we don't care, we sell! Yes, except... at which point exactly you sell is pretty much guesswork. When the best indicator of whether to sell a coin is the level of panic of other holders, you are not in a very good situation. The sigma mindset does not limit visions with imaginary peaks, the sigma sees more than one horizon and plans accordingly, maybe shorting along the way, maybe buying the dip, but ultimately focused on a destination that the sigma considers appropriate and realistic. The homework and illustration to today's lesson is the whitepaper and graph of HEX. If you have read so far you don't need me to tell you how that relates to today's sigma grindset theory.

Stay above the stratosphere, Sigmas!
