So you want to earn crypto while having fun? Well I’d recommend trying Pipeflare!
The site includes four arcade-style games that pay out Flare (the native token for the site) and coins (how you rank on leaderboards). By ranking within the top 300 on the leaderboard (very easy!) you can earn Zcash (ZEC).

I’ve previously written about how to rank on the leaderboard for Beatbox(a brick breaker style game) and how to rank on the leaderboard for Flare Hit (a darts style game). This article will go into tips to master Space Shooter (galaga meets asteroids) and rank higher, faster (aka earn more ZEC).
Tip #1: Avoid Getting Hit
The goal of Space Shooter is to destroy alien spacecraft. The aliens will shoot at your spaceship and everytime you are hit, your life bar will decrease. You can move both vertically and laterally. The trick to doing well in the game is to maneuver your spaceship around the barrage of alien attacks.
In the first stages there are not many ships, but higher stages can be challenging. Luckily there are power ups that help.
Tip #2: Get Powerups!
Periodically glowing boxes will appear on the screen. Fly your spaceship into them to receive either a power (red) or defense (blue) boost. These power ups are critical to success. The power boosts will increase the number and strength of you blasters. The defense boosts include a temporary indestructible shield and a one-hit-kill laser defense system (discussed further next).
Tip #3: One-Hit-Kill Laser
The one-hit-kill laser power up is the real key to success. If you get this power up, move your spaceship towards the center of the screen. The laser destroys anything in close proximity to your spaceship. This will make it rain down coins and Flare as all the aliens are destroyed.
