The season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. Like usual, I am collecting Silver chests for most of the season and rushed at the end to just collect some gold chests on the last day like usual. The previous season wasn't as bad but I still think the shorter season makes that final rush a little bit more rushed. It wasn't as bad this time around though because I was able to collect a decent chunk of chests in the Silver Leagues.
Season Rewards
Compared to last season, my fiat value is lower and I wonder if these soul-bound rewards even have a market value. Unfortunately, there was no chaos legion packs and that is a bit disappointing. The amount of increased but the decreased. I also got more potions and I feel like there are more cards now. There is one legendary card but it doesn't look that great in terms of stats so I don't know if I will use it much. It looks like each chest can drop multiple cards so higher league people will also see a boost in their card earnings.
Gladius Packs
I was able to collect three packs this season which was the same as last time. I got one gold foil common card (Alva The Crusher) and I also was able to collect two epic cards Quora. Quora is a great card and I am getting closer to making that card level 3 but it doesn't have much use to me right now because I am doing gold foil brawls. It could come in helpful in ranked battles if I use one of the new rare summoners though.
I upgraded my Alva for brawls and I was also able to upgrade Alfredo and Whistling Damon in my deck as well. Out of the three cards, Alva is the only one that I might use more often because I participate in those gold foil brawls. My recent brawl was quite bad though as I had more losses than wins though.
The rewards look to be about the same as last time but with a few areas getting more and others less. Overall, I don't think there is much of a difference between last season and this season in terms of SPS.
My pool rewards for the season is 122.49 SPS and I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards. As usual, I am staking my SPS and taking profits off of GLX. I accidentally forgot claim my pool SPS before staking so I put a screenshot of my SPS transaction record above and I staked both of my pool plus staking rewards.
It doesn't look like there is much of a change from what I am normally doing but the new rewards seem to be different from previous seasons. I like that we can get more cards from higher tier chests but I don't know if I like it being soul-bound and we haven't really had too many details on how to trade them afterward. At least this season hasn't been too bad lately but I don't know how things will go because it will be a short season. I will just stick to my normal strategy and hopefully I do get some chaos legion packs next time.
