Looks to as though the Crypto market trend after the merge is generally down. This isn't a bad thing. Just means more time is given for investors to zero cost average in and get ready for an adoption curve upwords. So we are still laggard in terms of the 6 month overview of the price of crypto assets. However you can say that we are on a upward trend still for all time interest and adoption of crypto as a personal assets available for everyone, this however is based on interest not market prices.
coinmarketcap we're seeing mostly red with the 7 Day price reduction of the asset value down by 15.0 % on the 16th of sept 2022. WIth a 24hr down of 2.9%. On the 7 day graphical view it is a significant downward curve trend. Which suggests to me more downward trend to occur in the next week.
In this graph you can see the downward trend from the the peak average curve that I have drawn. If you lowered the line a little on the graph you'll find it is also the average price drop for the same trend.
This is why I think it is a good time to start zero cost averaging in on Ethereum. The strategy that I am considering using myself is if this trend continues for the next 2 or three months is if the price is lower than last month then put some in. If this continues to be lower for the next month put some in but with 20% more than the last month. If this continues to another month the downward trend then I will put in again but 40% more than the first month I put in. Thats an increase of 20% put in's every month. This will on average lower the price cost for you. Meaning you never have to wait and guess for the bottom price to maybe put in at the bottom. You will be in at more or less near the bottom, more so then if you did not implement this long-term investment strategy and risk making a mistake, potentially missing the downward and dipping trend in the market entirely.
This is also not a Strategy not for day traders. Incase you missed it I was talking about, monthly investment put in's. To be clear I don't mean options strategy. Only regular purchases on your wallet or exchanges that give spot prices. Happy investing and trading.
