"Now is the winter of our discontent" was a line in Shakespeare's play Richard the III. https://literarydevices.net/the-winter-of-our-discontent/ It has come to symbolize misfortune coming to an end. I am finding that for individuals new to the crypto world this crypto winter is a blessing in disguise. IF I had made some initial investments while there was a crypto boom, I would have lost a lot of money. Now, if I invest some money I may lose a little, but history says we are at the beginning of the end of the downturn with intense opportunity for upside.

it follows a man who was struggling with managing his role in the world and whether or not he should follow his moral beliefs and convictions. As the losses keep mounting in the crypto world it can be easy to question the conviction that crypto is the future, or at minimum will play a large part in the future. We have to understand how our emotions play a role in our decision making. As in the book, if we let our emotions guide us, it can lead us down the wrong path. I believe in making wise, well thought out, and reasoned decisions, financial or otherwise. We should let our emotions inform, not dictate our decisions.
In previous posts, I outlined two crypto projects (Jasmy and Cardano) I feel have a solid foundation that is set up for the future, and one (Shiba Inu in my opinion only) that does not have much of a foundation at all. If I would have gone with my emotions only, I would have invested in Shiba Inu because becoming a millionaire multiple times over sounds fun. However, the past performance of the astronomical growth is almost mathematically impossible to occur again for that particular crypto.
I believe the future is full of opportunity, only if we see it for the opportunity it presents, not what we feel we want it to be. All subjective evidence indicates crypto is the opportunity of a lifetime.
