It all started on 28.04.2022 - on that day I made a firm decision to quit smoking and to invest the money I was going to spend on cigarettes in cryptocurrencies. Having made my first investment on 29.04.2023, I continued to buy cryptocurrencies until 11.04.2023 with the amount of money I would spend to buy a cigarette in a month. My total investment amount for the year was 9000 thousand zlotys or 2,271 dollars.
My primary goal in investing was to "multiply" my capital. But even with monthly averaging I was not able to do that.
Now my portfolio is in a drawdown. I will not fix losses, as I believe that 2025 will be bullish. But, for six months +- I stop investing, as I expect a long, painful and psychologically difficult market decline for most. Money that is intended for investment will be put aside and wait for better times to buy. Now my goal is to "save" money, and only then multiply.
Those who read me know that I am waiting for the last wave of growth, the mini alt season. Where I want to sell some cryptocurrencies to earn an investment and stay with only free coins. But the weakness of the market indicates that there won't be an alt season this year. So, not to be in more losses, I sold half (4.2 coins) of LightCoin at $80 per coin. If my prediction comes true and Litecoin rises to $130 per coin, in that case, I will sell the remaining half and come out in full break-even. If not, I will use the proceeds to buy more Litecoin when it declines.
