Hello world! My first post will be dedicated to a small series, a review of the Bitcoin ATMs that I can visit.

The first one I'm going to review is this brand new ATM in Chiasso. Thanks to the owner who allowed me to use it right away to understand how it worked.
This ATM is very close to customs, a few meters on foot. The owner is very nice and easy going. This ATM is located inside a currency exchange.
Permitted cryptos
This ATM allows you to both sell and buy cryptocurrencies, up to 1000 CHF in value without documents. Besides a telephone number is required (and I did not go further, because it needs a Swiss number).
For you I have done some tests.
Bitcoin sale
To sell bitcoins, you must send (within 60 minutes) the amount indicated on the ticket. After that you can go away. Later, when the transaction has been confirmed at least once, you can return to the ATM to collect the money.
Well it's inconvenient, onchain transactions are slower and more expensive than transactions via Lightining Network. . Tax 4 CHF.
Buying Bitcoin
To buy is much simpler. The ATM gives you a ticket with a public / private key of a new address and you put the banknotes and at home calmly, take everything from that address. Easy.
Here too, no segwit address, no LN
