So let's start with what is Shiba Inu?

Founded by an unknown person named Ryoshi who refers to himself as a volunteer and not some "god-like" creator. Shiba Inu was created on the basis of community, a rival of the meme-coin Doge. Ryoshi wrote that he does not accept money nor benefits from the growth of Shiba. He must buy Shiba and hold Shiba like anyone else to benefit from the growth of the token. Ryoshi who is believed to have worked with a group people to create Shiba Inu now confirms he works with a group of volunteers to develop the token further. The token was launched as a test of the strength of a community and the growth a community can create when it is strong. Shiba Inu at its very core was an experiment to see if a community of people can grow a token purely on the labor of said community. 

So how has Shiba done so far?

Shiba launched in August of 2020 and hit a high of $0.0000388 on May 10th, 2021, relative to the high of Doge this year and at a point in which Bitcoin was also way up. Shiba since it's high has experienced a steady decrease in price following the majority of the crypto market which has found itself in a bear market. However, I find this market the best time to buy hence why I am writing this at all. Shiba at its current price is a 81% drop from it's high, which if you were a stock investor would be a major red flag, yet this is the crypto market in which coins can jump thousands of percents in days and drop the same amount in matter of hours, Titan for example. 

But why do I like Shiba?

I like Shiba because its leadership and the potential of token backed by the strong community that surrounds it. It is a completely community based project, it only does as well as the community that supports it and it has a very strong community. The leadership behind the coin is also quite strong, Ryoshi really does not do anything for the project anymore but relies on others to help make the token better. My grandmother once told me something very wise, "your grandfather was never a savvy investor but he relied on people he trusted and that is why he is one of the best investors." Sometimes to be a good leader you need to recognize when others might be better suited for a task than even yourself, Ryoshi has done that allowing Shytoshi another volunteer to lead the charge on the new changes being made to Shiba Inu and the next step, Shiba Swap. 

Shiba Swap and the future of Shiba Inu.

The above is the potential new look of the next phase of Shiba, Shiba Swap. Shiba Swap will be comprised of three coins, $LEASH, $BONE, and $SHIB. $SHIB, is of course, Shiba Inu, the original and the token I have been discussing. Shiba Inu will be used now to swap for other coins or can be staked or "buried" to get a new token called $BONE. $BONE will work similarly to Neo Gas, in which it will be a byproduct of using the Shiba Swap or the future network, Shibarium. As for $LEASH, Leash will work similar to Shiba as it's secondary currency. 

Let's talk about the website that you see above and let's break it down. First, you have "DIG," dig will use your liquidity to find new bones, thinking of it like mining for Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency but in this case you are digging for bones. Second, you have "BURY," bury is quite interesting in which a user might choose to bury their Shiba tokens essentially staking them for the chance to get "rewards," I believe the rewards will be $LEASH and $BONE tokens. "FETCH," is simply the area in which a user might swap his or her tokens out for another token that is available on the network. "TREAT," will allow users to share their tokens with other users on the platform without fees. "BONEFOLIO," is the analytics center in which you can see how your investments have done. Lastly, "NFTs," Shiba Swap will include the ability to create and sell Non Fungible Treats (Non Fungible Tokens) to share, sell, and buy them. 

In conclusion, Shiba Inu at its current price and value is an absolute steal. Getting in on the ground floor of this coin could be one of your best investments of your life. The heads of the project have also stated that people who get in before the swap will benefit greatly by getting double the bone, more Leash, and extra Shiba when the swap is launched.
