Lot’s of things happened recently in Sorare and more is coming. Currently, they have onboarded 159 clubs from 35 leagues. Major event coming on September, 9th, 2021. And, I won some ETH! Yeah… I’ve did all the mistakes, I’ve described in my first article, but finally, after I have done some trading and I got myself a decent team. But, let speak about things in specific order.
Under23, D4
As I tried to rebalance my unsuccessful purchases, I found myself holding couple U23 DNPs. It is hard to see a red cross next to name of your U23 GK, but this how life goes. If so, it is possible to squeeze some juice and experience out of it. So, GW196 I’ve put my red cards leftovers into the action. As expected, I got no reward, but still I saw some potential. Being 200 points of prize is a long way to go, but on the other side, it still possible to reach with some good investment. Putting a decent defender will be a good step forward.
Changes coming GW200: I’ll put my new acquisition Derreck Kohn as team captain, Yuja Oki (white) as GK, hope that Koki Tachi and Maciel will play and main hope is for Sebastian Cocimano to be in starting line up and put some decent action. I will not get 300 point threshold, but every week is different and I might get close with my expected 205 or so.

I was excited when Sorare presented Limited cards, but I had no hopes to get anything valuable cheap. Currently, I do have several good players, but my 2 most expensive positions are scoring around zero. When I bought GK, I’ve checked SorareData and it showed me Yannick Thoelen as STARTER Goalkeeper for KV Mechelen team. I snatched him at 0.021 from Auction and was happy about it around a week. After that, I discovered that main GK for KV Mechelen Gaetan Coucke returned to his position. I’ve made another GK purchase under effect of realizing my mistake – Yuji Rokutan – and he is Reserve GK as well.
Another limited card I’ve spend my money on and disappointed is Dino Hotic. As forward of Cercle Brugge KSV he is spending his time in field, but due to coach’s tactics he is seldom playing full 90 min. So on average, he spend around 41 min per game in last 10 games or so and this is a result of his poor scoring.
For GW200, I’ve made a following changes. As about 260 points expected to get into Tier3 prizes, I’ve swapped Dimitar Velkovski from Cercle Brugge KSV to Russian player Aleksey Ionov. He had some decent scoring recently and I hope this is change that might get me into prize group if my GK plays and scores about 50 pts.

They made me 0.01 ETH on GW194 passing threshold less than 0.65 and I was very excited about it, but hold myself for another shot. In game week 196, I got 0.02 ETH. This time they scored 287 points, and I was 29 points away from Tier3 prize card. Jimmy Medranda assigned me as team captain performed poorly, but at least got me some coins. Due to some scheduling issues I was skipping current GWs till GW200, when my team will be rocking again (hopefully!)
