Review: The Bad Crypto Podcast

Do repost and rate:

I have tuned in and out of quite a few crypto focused podcasts over the years but the one I always seem to go back to is The Bad Crypto Podcast.

Ran by Travis Wright and Joel Comm, their show is typically very topical and they pull in some big time guests pretty regularly to talk about specific projects or current events in the crypto world.

A bit about the co-hosts from their website:

Joel Comm is a New York Times bestselling author, blockchain enthusiast, professional keynote speaker, social media marketing strategist, live video expert, technologist, brand influencer, futurist and eternal 12-year-old.

With over two decades of experience harnessing the power of the web, publishing, social media and mobile applications to expand reach and engage in active relationship marketing, Joel is a sought-after public speaker who leaves his audiences inspired, entertained, and armed with strategic tools to create highly effective new media campaigns.

Travis Wright is a top marketing technologist, author, keynote speaker, blockchain advisor, tech journalist, and podcast host. He is the former global digital and social strategist at Symantec for the Norton brand.

Wright is the cofounder & CMO of CCP.Digital, a Kansas City & SF-based digital ad & content agency. Wright is the author of Wiley & Sons, “Digital Sense, The Common Sense Approach to Social Business Strategy, Marketing Technologies, Customer Experience and Emerging Technologies”, which published in January 2017.

I think the thing that I really like about their podcast is the "everyman" voice they use.  They use plain language to convey complex subjects to the audience so that even beginners can digest it.  This is one of the reasons I regularly send beginners and nocoiners to their podcast when they seem interested in learning about cryptocurrency.

The quality of guests mixed with the ease of listening and understanding makes me rank The Bad Crypto Podcast as possibly the best in the entire genre.  You do have to put up with corny dad jokes on almost every episode, which is the only drawback... sometimes it gives me a bit of a chuckle.

Their show is published on iTunes, Spotify and several others.
