Recent Triple Whammy Market Dip - What's The Next Project?

Do repost and rate:

Okay, so we all know the market has taken a hit with Elon Musk, China, and JP Morgan comments recently.

So what now?

I'm not a market guru, so I don't know.  I just know that I played the dips, bought more crypto, and will wait until (hopefully) the prices go up again in order to start trading profitably again.  Until then it's just HODL'ing

But as a small investor, that means it's not much fun.  The fun is in researching, analysing, and making the trades.

Where should I now get my Crypto fun?

Alternatives? Crypto Gaming?

Alien Worlds

I like Alien Worlds and the WAX network.  I make a few TLM, convert to WAXP, and either stake or convert it to other currency.  About 80% is re-staked and 20% is withdrawn.  But with CPU & RAM constraints, and the fact you have to wait between mining, means it is a relatively slow project.

It took me a while to get started with Alien Worlds - as it was also my first real foray into the world of blockchain.  Wax Wallets, Alcor Exchange, Wax Bloks (and setbag commands, etc), Atomic Hub : It was all very daunting but a great experience.  I would recommend it to any newbie as you don't need to spend any money to get started.  And if you don't like it, you haven't lost anything.

Splinterlands

I have seen lots of posts and articles about Splinterlands.  I have even created a account - but I don't like having to spend money on a "spellbook" just to get started and see if I like the game.

But the gameplay (in theory) looks interesting.  And, similar to Alien Worlds, I hear that once you get started and "into it" you can have fun and earn crypto too.

Crypto Betting Sites

Not for me I'm afraid.  I would rather "bet" on the crypto trade markets than using Crypto for betting on sports events.

I do have FIAT betting accounts where I can bet on sports events that tickle my fancy.   These mainly consist of "Plymouth Argyle" football games as this is the football team that I support - but it is for fun and normally no more than ?0.05 or ?0.10 per game to make the results a bit more interesting.

Goals

I have decided that I will try Splinterlands.

But I don't want to invest with my own money in case I don't like it.  So I will continue to write and blog, earn micro tips, use faucets, etc, and when I have earnt enough crypto I will "purchase" the spell book.  Hopefully this will not be in the too distant future.

It might even (hopefully) be a race between earning enough crypto to join SPLINTERLANDS or the markets picking up and I can start trading more as I convert HODL into liquid funds.

What about you?

So I know where I am going with crypto in the short term (HODLing and gaming for fun!).

What about you?  How have you fared in the triple whammy dip recently?

Do you have any other good ideas / thoughts on what "fun" crypto projects I could do?  Things that will keep me occupied, but also teach me more about the crypto sphere?

Good luck with whatever your venture!
