With the adoption of cryptocurrency growing in businesses and to the masses, StableCoins are going to take over. They hardly deal with prices crashes, they don't deal with whales owning hundreds of millions of dollars worth of coin where they can manipulate the market to their advantage. It offers something safer in the crypto universe. You don't have to worry about buying your coins and the price dropping thru the basement and you lost everything (been there done that). It offers more incentives for brick and mortar establishments and big online brands and companies to accept these StableCoins.
Now i'm not saying the others currencies are flawed they all have their problems. This is just a safer way for the average person to get into crypto without the risk of losing everything in one big price drop off. That's why i believe they will be the future in online retail and getting rid of fiat all together. No one will switch from fiat to BTC or ETH because that is just not a possibility the massive transaction cost, the slow confirmations, even in a few more years when its more widely available to the public i don't see much changing because the whales and institutional investors already have their greedy hands wrapped around it.
