Presearch: an alternative against monopoly

Do repost and rate:

My experience with PRESEARCH started in October 2020; since then, I noticed some improvements implemented in the tool. The most significant change (in my opinion) occurred in the quality of the search results; more results and better results, this obviously makes the user more satisfied; a dark mode was also added, which brings more comfort to our eyes.

  • In settings it is also possible to change the background color of homepage.

It is important to note that Google represents 88% of searches made on computers and smartphones, an explicit monopoly; its biggest rival, Bing (Microsoft), is unable to compete at the same level; so don't see Presearch as a competitor to Google, see it as an alternative; a good alternative. While the drop in quality in Google's search results is noticeable; Presearch presents rewards for its use as well as constant improvements.

The rewards system is undoubtedly the most attractive part for using the tool (0.12 PRE/Search), the token increased by 567.3% in one year (between 03/24-2020 and 03/24-2021); however, the minimum withdrawal amount is relatively high; 1000 tokens, that is, you would need to do 8334 searches (0.12 x 8334 ? 1000) to get this value. Considering that practically every browser comes with Google as a standard search tool, wouldn't it be tiring to have to type in the Presearch engine address every time I want to do a search? yes, it would really be very tiring and that is why there are two extensions; one for Chrome/Brave and the other for Firefox, in addition to two Chrome/Brave and Firefox "start pages". But what if I don't use (I don't really use) Chrome, BRAVE or Firefox? unfortunately you will have to enter the Presearch address; to save your time the suggestion is to save it in the bookmarks or "add to home screen", even so it doesn't seem very convenient, does it? so, how to solve this? with a mobile browser.

There is no point in having a nice search tool if the browser sucks; and when it comes to mobile navigation it’s very stressful. Large, slow and incomplete browsers are not lacking; so in my opinion the Presearch team should develop the mobile browser itself, something light with minimalist design and complex functions; it would be a Practical, Rewardable and Engaged browser with the user community. In the meantime, let's make the best of it and accumulate some tokens; be patient.
