Since the crypto exploded in the last months of 2020, I started hearing more and more often friends and acquaintances(who know than I am involved) ask me for advice on how to get into it. However, I like to say that I am not a financial adviser and everyone is required to do their own due diligence regarding matters related to money investments and the risk of losing them.
This article is targeting the people that want to get into crypto, but don't want or cannot spend their hard-earned money to buy expensive mining hardware or crypto assets directly. PRESEARCH is a way of earning crypto without any investment, using only "tools" that you already have - a computer and/or a smartphone, internet connection, and some time to spare. Assuming the fact that you are reading this, you probably have at least one of those.
This does not require any technical skills whatsoever. Everyone can do it. Some of the websites and exchanges I will mention will require KYC(know your customer), which is a requirement for storing/trading with crypto assets. If you are NOT comfortable with that you should also consider stopping using your bank, since they require much more from you than the front and back of your ID card.
Presearch
Presearch is a Decentralized search engine that rewards the users with a PRE token for each query they complete(up to around 30 paid searches each day). At first sight, this is not a huge amount of money(currently 1 PRE is about $0.10, however, once you accumulate 1000 PRE tokens you can withdraw them and either keep them to wait for the price to rise or directly exchange them to either other crypto or a FIAT money(EUR, USD, etc.) As of today 1000 PRE is about $90-$100. For someone that could be an insignificant amount of money, for others(depending on where are they located) could be a full month's worth of food. Another way to generate PRE is to invite more people to join via your referral link which will bring you 25 PRE for each user after they are confirmed to be regular users.

That way you will lose the chance to get the initial 25 tokens from the referral.
Afterward, the only thing you need is to install the Presearch Browser Extension - it is available for Chrome(or any other Chrome-like browser), Firefox, and on Android, they have their own browser that you can use on mobile. I am not sure about iOS.
In the upper right corner, you will be able to see the number of tokens you earned.
The interesting part is that Presearch can be integrated with any Chromium-based browsers like Brave, Netbox, MS Edge, CryptoTab. Not sure if you guys are aware that any of those can be used to earn additional money(Crypto or Gift-cards). I will go over some of them in future articles.
Additionally for Mobile(Android, not sure about iPhone), there is a full browser named presearch which you can use to earn PRE tokens.
Important to know about the PRE token is that it is ERC-20 and it requires an ETH wallet to be stored. For beginners, I can recommend the Atomic Wallet and METAMASK for someone that has some idea what he's doing. One drawback of PRE being on the Ethereum blockchain are the high GAS fees that are required as of now for the transactions. This will probably be resolved at some point later in 2021 but should be kept in mind. Basically, when you withdraw your tokens you might want to send them directly to an Exchange such as Kucoin. Where PRE can be traded for BTC and USDT. Kucoin is also recommended for withdrawals from Publish0x.
If you choose to withdraw PRE to your own wallet you should keep in mind that currently, transactions might cost about 20-30-40$ paid in ETH. So it's a good idea to either HODL the tokens and perhaps either Keyword stake(to send traffic to some of your links) or run a Presearch node that will earn you rewards. However, this is a topic that is not really suitable for people who are new to crypto. I will eventually go into detail about the Node operation for Presearch in future articles. It's important to know that you do not need any PRE to run a node, but you need at least 1000 units to receive the rewards.
Other places where you can trade PRE tokens are the exchanges, Uniswap, Probit, and HITBTC. Uniswap is an interesting project for me, but what you should keep in mind is that the fees for ERC-20 based tokens over there might require you to pay 2-3 times the normal GAS fee which as of the current prices is insane - 60-80$ per transaction.
In near future, I will follow up with more ways to earn crypto, and aside from that, I will also offer a deeper look at Presearch.
