PI network account – Part One

Do repost and rate:

The PI network application beta version was launched on March 14 2019 by three Stanford graduates. Anyone with a smartphone and an invitation code can use the digital currency app, without any expensive devices, or worried about battery consumption rates. A technical overview of what is under the PI hood is explained by MikeZillo another Pulish0x author.

The mission statement and vision for the PI Network can be found in this white paper.

Setting up an PI account is straight forward, just download the app and fill in the required information. You will in an Invitation Code EEshorts  to open the Pi Network account.  After you join the Pi Network, the goal is to invite other people to your Pi Network.

One very important thing to remember is to tap the Charging Icon once every 24 hours. That is how the app knows you are human and help the Developers to determine the number of active users on the network.

The next step in setting up PI network process is to acquire a 3rd party verification know as  KYC, which means Know Your Customer. The one being promoted within the PI network is YOTI.  YOTI are a worldwide organization that hold people's digital identities. YOTI represents a fast and safe way of end users proving who they are in the world of the Internet. You must complete this to have your Pi released to you.

There are many conversations going on about YOTI, but I will leave that for another blog.

For now, everyone on the PI network has only earn a share of a pie and will remain just a cool social experiment until an actual coin is issued.

What about mining - Stay tune for part two – PI node.
