Neal Mohan, the newly appointed CEO of YouTube, highlighted the importance of NFTs and Web3 technology as a significant tool.

Last February, Mohan had planned to integrate content through NFTs regarding the Web3 topic. Mohan has always taken a moderate approach to the NFT subject, which has been a long-standing debate in the crypto industry.
Mohan stated that there could be many opportunities for YouTube content creators regarding NFT and Web3 topics, such as attracting audiences, generating additional revenue streams, and increasing interaction. Mohan used the example of images, videos, and artwork created by YouTube content creators being turned into NFTs.
Mohan expressed his thoughts on integrated NFTs and Web3 for YouTube as follows:
“We believe new technologies like blockchain and NFTs can allow creators to build deeper relationships with their fans,” he continued. “Together, they’ll be able to collaborate on new projects and make money in ways not previously possible.”
