My Stash Stock Party Free Earnings

Every Thursday at 4 p.m. EDT is a Stash Stock Party where you have thirty minutes to claim a free fractional share of a company at https://party.stash.com.

Most of the stocks Stash gives away each week are Fortune 500 companies.

During last week's Stash Stock Party, they gave away a fractional share of The Coca-Cola Company ($KO). Here is a screenshot of my confirmation email:

Two Thursdays ago, the Stash Stock Party gave away a piece of Microsoft $MSFT stock.

And three Thursdays ago, Stash gave away a fractional share of Disney $DIS. It was the third time this year that Disney was awarded since I've been participating in these giveaways. Those dates were March 7, May 4, and July 30.

During the July 23 Stash Stock Party, I scored some Tesla ($TSLA). It was the second time I received $TSLA. As of this writing, the return on $TSLA for the 7/23 giveaway is +15.55%. But, the 3/27 giveaway has had a whopping return of +230.14%!

Most of the free Stash stock giveaways have positive returns. Some examples:

  • Apple ($AAPL) +21.39%
  • Under Armour ($UA) +22.49%
  • Crocs ($CROX) +47.95%
  • Etsy ($ETSY) +58.58%
  • Spotify ($SPOT) +74.57%

Here's a spreadsheet of all the free stocks I've claimed since March 9. It's tracking the 71 companies I’ve received so far with the following metrics:

  • #StashStockParty dates
  • Company/Stock Symbols
  • Amounts received
  • Purchase Prices
  • Shares received
  • Current Prices (according to Google Finance)
  • Amounts Now
  • Return %

According to my Stash Stock Party spreadsheet, I've received $22.68 of free stock from Stash.

As of right now, my total return of +20.02%, brings the current total amount of my Stash Stock Party portfolio to $28.10.

There's one error according to my Stash account for the free $ACB awarded on 4/13.

I've come to a conclusion about the Stash stock picks for their #StashStockParty giveaways. Based on individual and overall returns according to my spreadsheet, Stash should consider starting an Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF)!

To be eligible to receive a #StashStockParty Stock Reward you must have a Stash personal investment account in good standing with a valid email address.
