My Start with Cryptocurrencies

Do repost and rate:

When I first discovered cryptocurrency it was a completely different animal. I say that for a few reasons.

When I started I used to test and regularly visit at least 100 faucets, most of them attached to what was the arguably one of the biggest and most resourceful mini wallets, FaucetHub. Of course, the FaucetHub I knew and used no longer exists. It does have a mini, FaucetPay.io however it is not available in the USA and from what I understand is a lot more limited then the original.

I had a start here too, a fairly long while ago and I have changed quite a lot since then but my main goal here is very much the same. I am currently getting back into the Crypto world and finding which old "flames" are still alive and reliable, finding which areas no longer exist..and finding a few strange outliers that just don't fit into my idea of a traditional faucet.

Coin Pot was another big outlet I would use, once upon a time ago. Although now I can't say I would recommend it. I have attempted to reconnect with it but as of yet I haven't been at all successful, although I will say its entirely possible that it just isn't compatible with my devices. I have yet to try an actual laptop or desktop computer when attempting to use it.

The policies surrounding taxing cryptocurrencies and the fact that they are treated as if they are properties owned boggles me. I sincerely enjoy cryptocurrency and always have but it I think it is a shame that for something that was meant to make life easier for the average person it certainly does have its complications. For example, did you know that there is a tax for every time you use your crypto? I have seen the idea of a debit card for cryptocurrency and I love the prospect. But while every single little exchange is considered a taxable event I'm not sure how realistic that prospect is in the USA.

Seems like in the governments attempt to gain a foothold, they have succeeded in making such an ideal come to its downfall.

In the meantime, PTC (paid to click) sites have completely embraced crypto although the 2 I have tried certainly come off as shady if not downright money grabbing. Provided they do eventually let one pull money out, the fact that a 'free user' is completely non-existent is a bit of a red flag nonetheless. Based off of that reason alone I would caution that you be careful with that sort of set up for Crypto earning Paid to click sites.

When I first got into Crypto I was (still am) very interested in apps that allow you to earn, however, many of those have been deleted in the time I was gone to the crypto world.

I'm genuinely surprised and pleasantly challenged by how much has changed.

Meanwhile, as a thank you to those of you who read this to end I will include a snippet that does allow you to earn crypto off of your phone. While few still exist anymore, CryptoPop, is one of the oldest apps for earning Crypto and is still paying out. With CryptoPop you can earn Ethereum straight to your COINBASE wallet. I will say that since its modest beginnings the makers have included a few more apps 2 of which I have tested and also pay out, I will write reviews on them later. The only thing I have found about these apps that is mildly annoying is that the max amount the list is not the max you can earn. In other words, once you hit so much the games will glitch until you can cash it out and start all over again. But that limit is lower then the one listed. Still, you can request your amount every 3 days and I have been successfully paid via these apps 2 or 3 times each in the past week, week and a half.

My overall, opinion of CryptoPop is that while it has some flaws, if you enjoy earning a little bit with your downtime via games on your phone; it is a worthwhile app to put some time into.

As always, I am only stating my experiences and opinions based off of those experiences. What you decide to do is totally up to you. ??
