My experience with Coinbase

Do repost and rate:

If you are already a COINBASE user, this may not be the post for you outside of reading my experience with the platform.  Like many of you, I decided to get into Crypto a few years back first to "test the waters" and second because I was sick of watching my money set in a bank account and draw no real returns.  I figured if the banks could use my money virtually free to make money, why shouldn't I?  So I started looking into buying Cryptocurrencies and saw there were multiple platforms in which I could purchase various tokens and decided to try a few different ones.  I will blog on other purchasing platforms at a later date if this is well received.

Among the platforms I used, Coinbase is one of the best for folks wanting to "try" Cryptocurrency.  It is true that you can use some other platforms for much lower fees but the education, safety, and ease of use in Coinbase makes it one of my favorites.  If you are new to Crypto, please consider using my referral link: https://www.coinbase.com/join/bray_la?src=ios-share for an added bonus, for us both of course!

Once you join, you can purchase 100.00 USD or more and receive 10.00 USD in Bitcoin.  I checked my portfolio earlier this morning and the 10.00 bonusI received when I signed up and made the 100 dollar purchase is worth just over 44.00!  That is one heck of a return on investment when compared to my local bank!

In addition to the bonus, you will also receive periodic rewards in the form of short videos, followed by easy single answer quizzes, to earn more Cryptocurrencies.  This is a wonderful educational tool to learn more about specific tokens and "earn while learning".  Most of the rewards are three lessons for a chance to earn a total of 3 dollars.  When I started, some were in the 10-12 dollar range so not sure if that is still the case for the first couple of lesson or not.  either way, I started with a 100 dollar investment, bought another crypto for 100 dollars at a later time, and have participated in all of the reward offers for various Cryptos.  I have no referrals at this time, hopefully that will change if you find this useful lol, and as of today, my portfolio is over 1,000 USD.  Of course that fluctuates with the market but for 200 bucks and a little time watching videos, that is a wonderful return.

Also, many of the Cryptocurrencies listed on Coinbase are also eligible for Coinbase Earn interest.  The APY rates will be listed by each eligible Crypto and may be as low as 0.5 (USD Coin) or over 4%.  I know these rates pale in comparison to staking rewards or syrup pools (more on my experience with those later) but they are typically much better than bank rates and your Crypto is not held for specific times to receive them, you can withdraw or trade at any time with no penalty.

Anyway, I wanted to share some of my experience with Coinbase in hopes that it will help folks as they are deciding to enter the Cryptoverse.  As always, this is by no means financial advise, just some observations and experiences that I wanted to share.  If you find this useful, please fell free to tip, leave a comment, or join Coinbase via the included referral link.  Thanks to all who take a moment to read my posts, we are all in this together!
