I could have waited a bit longer for the Bitcoin price correction to drive the crypto market lower.
It's always easy to say after...
A bullish rally was as likely as a downward correction before March 9, 2023.
It's just my opinion.
I admit I was a bit aggressive on my custom DCA.
I remind you that I started my DCA on October 30, 2022.
So I bought when Bitcoin was between $16,000 and $24,000.
I have already defined my strategy for this year 2023 as a long-term investor.

This Thursday, March 9, there was : the Biden budget proposal for 2024.

This is not bullish news for the crypto sector.
For the moment, these are proposals.
But this may be the start of a possible form of repression.
The beginning of a will issued by anti-crypto people.
We also remember that Sam Bankman-Fried (FTX) had made significant donations to Biden's party.
Small personal revenge against the crypto sector ?
While trying to gauge public opinion for tougher taxes ?
Remember when Janet Yellen (US Secretary of the Treasury) said she would consider taxing unrealized capital gains.
There was no real information.
It was a typical example of a form of communication.
To be able to test public opinion?
It was a ridiculously abused announcement.
Not just stupid, but seriously lacking in common sense.
We offer you the worst to accept the less worst afterwards?
On May 30, 2021, I wrote in a post (Markets and Speculations
"The markets, whether crypto or not, are subject to two main forms of speculation : Temporal speculation and emotional speculation.
Thus, the various players try to anticipate the future in order to take a position on these markets. And the effects of announcements play with our emotions to control and manipulate these markets. It doesn't matter whether an annoucement is true or false. The goal is not to provide information but to use forms of communication to give a bullish or bearish direction to the various markets.
For example, institutions warn against the risks of volatility in the crypto markets. However, these institutions play a remarkable role in this volatility : indecision between regulation and ban is a major risk of volatility."

The crypto market is young, volatility is high, do your own research and measure the risks before making a decision.
