It was 1 month ago that I started out on this journey to obtain a certain amount of crypto within this calendar year. These were not some New Years Resolutions but merely goals that I wanted to strive towards. It would give me direction as to what paths I should follow and where to put my energy and time. Just to recap here are the year goals.
Now a few things happened since my last post and the most notable was that ExpressCrypto is down and done for. You can read my post if you want to know more about it. ExpressCrypto was a crucial part of my plan and with it going down I had to restructure how I would obtain SHIB, DOGE, ADA and MATIC.
To recap here is where I will be earning those currencies, or at least the majority of them.
Starbits = Playing Rising Star only
BCH = Mostly earned from Noise.Cash
Litecoin = I cheated and traded my extra HIVE I had for 1.16 LTC so I already completed this and it felt great!
Ravencoin = Mining with my GPU's
Banano = JungleTV and Folding@Home
Trilium = Playing Alien Worlds
MATIC = ROLLERCOIN and Faucets
ADA = Faucets
SHIBA = Faucets (now primarily AutoFaucet
DOGE = Rollercoin and Faucets
So how have I done? This first month is a little skewed because of the LTC I traded for that I didn't account for. In the past I would trade some Swap.Hive for LTC when I earned enough from playing various other Hive based games. I also moved my DOGE to a seperate wallet so I lost a tiny bit on gas fees.
There are a few take away's from this chart.
I thought 500,000 Starbits was going to be a hard goal to reach but maybe doable. Turns out if I keep this pace up for the whole year I will make 1,109.220 Starbits. Which is more than double of my initial goal. And if I get to 1 million Starbits I get the bonus Millionaire Starbits mission which will let you make even more Starbits.
BCH earning on Noise.Cash has gotten greatly slower around Dec '21 and into 2022. I was hoping it would pick back up but it hasn't yet. I need to get creative with other avenues to earn more BCH as I really like that coin and want as much as I can.
Litecoin I already went into that I semi-cheated but I don't care and still count it! It's the benefit of never spending FIAT on any of my crypto that everything is a gain and it's even better when you find crypto that you forgot about!
Ravencoin was a nice bump. I earned 500 RVN from mining and my mining was a little off this month. I kept my 3060 mostly mining all the time but my 1050 TI's I have messed around with so I haven't earned as much as I could potentially if I focus just on RVN mining.
Banano could have been better. I really started to get into JungleTV and the contests they hold which require you to queue videos with cost BAN. I spent about 130 BAN this month alone queueing up videos. But it also let me earn NFT's and BAN as prizes so it's a win win.
TLM was a surprise for me. I started the month mining about 0.02 per mine and that is what I based my goal off of but then I noticed the land I was mining on up'd their commission so I switched back to a 2% commission land and started making around 0.2 TLM per mine which greatly increased my TLM earning for this month.
MATIC and ADA show no progress and that is mostly because I was counting on ExpressCrypto. I have had to switch up my plan with those and still don't have a great solution. They are both coins that I want to own so I will figure out a way but just don't have one yet.
SHIB shows as zero but I do have a few thousand in a Faucet site. I am waiting until I amass more so that I don't have to pay the crazy 12,500 SHIB gas fee more then I have to. I still think 200,000 is more than doable for the year.
DOGE... where do I begin with DOGE. I have some in a Faucet site as well but not a lot. I was getting my DOGE from swapping before and from Rollercoin. I need to reassess where to get DOGE as well.
