Maximize your R-planet earnings using koloboks!

R-planet is widely known among the alien worlds players. In simple terms, you stake your unused NFTs from various games, 9 till the time of writing this post with more to be added in the future, and get rewards paid in R-planet's cryptocurrency, aether. The reward amount is based on the rarity of the staked NFTs and you can claim them every hour. Aether will be used to to create NFTs on R-planet, but till then you can exchange them for wax at alcor exchange.

A fun way to maximize your hourly returns is by playing kolobok! At first you will need at least two koloboks, which can be found at simplemarket for as low as 0.1 wax. After that you can breed them and create new ones or send them on adventures and gain prizes if they survive. Based on the adventure difficulty you can get a common, uncommon, rare or epic prize, which gives 4, 6, 8 and 24 aether/hour respectively. Compare these numbers with the alien worlds NFT returns and also consider you get drops more frequently. You can increase your aether gains by many times! I went from 30 aether/hour to 145 aether/hour in just two days and it will be significantly increased the following days since I always have koloboks adventuring.

Things to consider:

  • You need a wax wallet. You can easily create one here.
  • Every kolobok has 2 stats, speed and stealth, which are hidden when you buy them.
  • It's better to buy koloboks with 0 kids (can be seen at the kolobok info) for lower breeding time.
  • Newborns need some hours to grow.
  • After breeding or adventuring each kolobok needs some time to rest. I've found out that displayed resting times for breeding are way off. Although it said 13 days (!) for rest after the 3rd kid or so, I never got anything over some hours, and I've got a stallion with 9 kids!
  • Koloboks are RAM hungry! So be prepared to buy some.
  • Dead koloboks are better to be deleted than revived, cause that needs kbucks. Kbucks are the in-game currency obtained by completing bounties for prizes. I believe it's way better to stake prizes than giving them for kbucks.
  • Be careful to buy an alive kolobok. Many dead ones are sold at simplemarket and you will need to revive them in order to use them. To see only alive ones use the filters provided and tick the 100 health box. Also you can avoid buying dead koloboks with a big x-shape in front of their image.

Most important thing to consider is that even though R-planet seems a promising and exciting project, it involves the risk of losing your NFTs. In order to stake your assets you pass the ownership to them and no one guarantees that there will not be an exit scam. With some research I found the team behind the project are established developers at the EOSIO blockchain, but still always DYOR and stake only what you don't care losing!
